About Me
I am Andrew “AJ” Thiesen, a Systems Architect, Machine Learning Engineer, and Cybersecurity Advocate based in Naples, FL.
With a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a concentration in Cybersecurity, I specialize in building, securing, and automating enterprise-grade infrastructure. I currently work as an IT Analyst in Server & Storage, where I manage critical systems and ensure seamless operational continuity.
Core Expertise
My work sits at the intersection of hardware, security, and code. I build tools that eliminate manual overhead and enforce zero-trust policies.
- Infrastructure Automation: Development of comprehensive PowerShell frameworks to automate server lifecycles, including zero-trust decommissioning processes.
- Enterprise Auditing: Building modular, scalable auditing tools to visualize server dependencies and enforce strict security baselines across complex environments.
- Machine Learning & Edge Compute: Bridging the gap between physical server infrastructure and the pipelines required to run modern machine learning models efficiently.
Projects & Initiatives
Beyond my day-to-day architectural work, I am the founder of Black Anchor Works, a digital identity focused on delivering secure, minimalist web solutions and exploring the future of decentralized edge computing.
I am continuously refining my own operational security and lab environments, developing custom solutions to map out and secure hybrid networks.
Get in Touch
I am always open to discussing new remote architecture roles, infrastructure challenges, or security advocacy.
