Working in [[IT]] is…draining. I have lost the passion for it. Many of the emails I got from a manager at a previous employer were obviously [[AI slop]]. Lay offs abound. The [[job security]] doesn’t exist anymore. Yet, like all IT professionals, I am bound by the golden handcuffs.
